Specialised study on ambition

I have participated in a four-month educational study focusing on ambition and potential opportunities for enterprise.
The course was delivered by Hatch Enterprise, a London-based charity that provides courses for people with disabilities and those who are neurodiverse. It was created in collaboration with Linklaters and The Finding Circle
The course was called “Get Ready to Start” and focused on exploring key factors in business, along with essential information for starting a business. This included customer engagement, the one-page plan, finance, pitching, and more.
My tasks.

As part of the course, I was required to develop a summary information document. This involved creating a bite-sized version of a business plan, known as the "One-page plan".
Due to the multi-purpose nature of my enterprise proposal, Aware+Vision, I have also developed a series of multi-page documents, including a “Summary Plan”. This was divided into sections: Awareness, Creative, and Dancing, each containing key information such as target audience, short-term objectives, and value proposition.
For the conclusion of the course, I was required to deliver a two-minute pitch presentation, including the development of presentation slides.
Special Landing Webpage

To encourage audience follow-up after a presentation, I created a special landing page with a QR code linking directly to online resources.
This webpage contains documents that the audience can download and browse at their own leisure. These include the presentation slides used for pitching, the collection of documents linked to the one-page plan, and additional supporting documents that provide more detailed information beyond the presentation slides.
The special landing page is exclusively for staff and team members of Hatch Enterprise, Linklaters, and The Finding Circle..
How the Course Will Influence my Approach
The course will enable me to fine-tune aspects of my approach and development.
I have already made progress in developing interactive digital touchpoints on tablet devices, including portfolio and showcase documents that demonstrate examples of my work. These documents can be adapted depending on the background and industry of the individual I am engaging with.
Therefore, while the core digital documents I use for networking and meetings will remain consistent, I plan to redevelop my pitching slides for more focused meetings, such as fundraising, potential investor discussions, and proposals for collaboration or partnership.
The structured communication approach for pitching can be applied in a variety of ways. Firstly, it is useful when meeting people at networking events, particularly influential individuals. Additionally, the same structure can be adapted for social media in video format to inform, announce, or promote a project or development.
Acknowledgements
I would like to thank the entire team who developed and delivered this course, along with the volunteers and my fellow participants, who are known as founders.
