Summary my feature of the video campign
I was part of a very special video campaign linked with "Be Bold, Be Birmingham" an initiative by Birmingham City Council to showcase the host city of the Commonwealth Games. This is part of the community project "Be Your Personal best" focusing on community influencers.
My feature in the campaign incluldes my salsa dancing participation, my awareness initiative for hidden differences and my creative projects.
The media and output
This is promoted on Birmingham City Council social media channels during the summer after the commonwealth games to promote a long term legacy for the city.
Content structure
The campaign asks me a series of questions about my background, my influencers and my achievers and my future plans forward.
With my salsa dancing involvement, the video includes my salsa and batchata dancing. Also includes an image of my creative marketing submission for the official "Be Bold, Be Birmingham" creative competition.
I expressed with a combination of history, my insight and the importance of my city and regional legacy needs to improve inclusivity
The aim of my involvement to widen diverse and cultural representation. Also, to see the city beyond the obvious and what's recognisable.
