Developed enhanced dancing guides

Keith Mckenzie • January 13, 2026

Developed with Latinmotion

A special edition of the Dancing Inclusive Guide was developed on video & on social media.

This was based on webpage information and downloadable inclusivity pledges featured online as part of the Plus Value Awareness project, Inclusive to Dance, along with social media templates linked to the online special Embrace Dancing.

The special edition of the inclusive guide was developed in conjunction with the Birmingham-based Latin dancing provider, Latinmotion.

Using guidance from Latinmotion’s co-founder, Mauricio Reyes, a special version of the guide was adapted into social media templates and video reels. Two versions were developed: one focused on dance classes and workshops, and the other on parties and events.

This included developing a series of pictogram designs linked to each guidance step.

Both the special videos and social media content were shared via Latinmotion’s community Facebook page to coincide with the organisation’s annual New Year event, NYE Fest.

The content also appeared on my Instagram page, where it became the most viewed content in late December.

The aim was to inform and inspire visitors and participants in advance of attending the annual event, and to raise awareness of the Embrace Dancing initiative.

In the long term, I hope these guides will reach more dancing communities.
