Awareness Documents

Unity Forward
Linked to the online information and encouragement feature, this document explores the ways in which a changing society has affected the lives of neurodivergent people with hidden differences. It also provides suggestions on what needs to be done to ensure that neurodivergent people are not disadvantaged.

Disability and Difficulties Representation
An in-depth analysis examining concerns about the misrepresentation of disabilities, difficulties and neurodiversity. It includes examples relating to politicians, public authorities, the press and the media, and provides suggestions for improving the representation of disabilities and hidden differences.

Pathways to Work Consultation Documents
Two specialist documents developed for submission as part of a Department for Work and Pensions consultation. The documents respond to the points raised in the consultation and include a range of suggestions and practical solutions.

The Timms Report Response
A concise response to the Timms Review of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), summarising the key issues together with a range of recommendations and proposed solutions.

Developed in collaboration with Birmingham's Latinmotion, these short guides aim to improve inclusivity within dance environments. A series of accompanying social media video reels has also been produced.

Dancing Inclusivity Pledges Mobile & Tablet)
Linked to the Inclusive to Dance project, this collection of inclusivity pledges provides practical tips and guidance to help improve inclusivity within the dance community. The documents have been tailored for the different people involved in partner dancing.
