As well as the project director of plus value awareness, I am also a dancing participant as a dance teaching assistant and the participant at salsa dancing conventions.
I has decided to share some of the fundamental examples salsa dancing for Autism Dance Day. Joining me on the video is a well-known & respected face in salsa dancing community in the midlands and across the UK. Jayne Emily Tupin is a proffeional dancer and one of the regular dance teachers with the Birmingham based Latinmotion. Jayne also teaches around the UK and a dance performer at major events.
The video was made as a progression since Ih appeared on a special video campaign to Showcase Birmingham's legacy since hosting the Commonwealth Games in 2022. Click here for details
Hopefully the video will encourage other autistic people to take part in dancing activities of all types are not let their difficulties hold them back
Special thanks to Latinmotion's Brighon Djoser and Jayne Emily Turpin for arranging the video
