As part of my special assignment, I did some something out of the ordinary to do some public speaking as a special presenter live on stage to surprise the founders of Latinmotion as part of the New Year's Eve to mark their 25th anniversary (providing salsa classes social events & conventions in the Birmingham area & beyond). This involves a sharing a specially designed greeting card developed by myself.

However, to make the special celebration happen it had to done as a surprise.

The celebrations surprise took place during the Latinmotion's annual New Year's event, located inside Hilton Metropole Hotel at Birmingham's NEC on New Year's Eve. This was involving specific Latinmotion's Key team member Brighon Davis & other members to encouraging attendees & other team members to fill the card with their greetings & messages during the event and earlier during December.

​Meanwhile I negotiated with Brighon on how the surprise will happen. A number of ideas was proposed and it lead to making a presentation with a unexpected surprise as part of Latinmotion's annual meeting years bash. This involves me doing live presenting leading to the live surprise. So while Brighon & others was busy encouraging attendees & teams members to write a greeting message inside the greeting card, I was preparing several hours before the New Year's Eve party.

Preparation
This involves hours of writing my presenting scripts on what to say with initial & developed ideas. Then later defining the script to completion. Then I shared the defined script to Latinmotion's Brighon for approval. Many hours later, I used the approved script to make practice.

The big night
More than a thousands of people attended the New Year's party at Hilton Metropole Hotel at Birmingham's NEC. To make it happen Brighon from Latinmotion was preparing the surprise behind the scenes to make sure the founders of Latinmotion Mauricio and Zane are together on stage.

Lights, stage & action
Then just around 20 minutes before the Midnight celebrations into New Year, Brighon interrupted Mauricio who was hosting the showtime presentation of live dancing performances This enabled me to come on stage to present the surprise, I reminded the audience on Latinmotion's 25th anniversary then I presented the 25th anniversary card to founders Mauricio and Zane. I additionally mentioned my presenting to show a special thanks for amazing achievement for 25 years. The audience cheered with excitement with this suprise card which no one was expected.

​Later on the same night when Mauricio was introduction the live show of dancing performers I was asked to join Mauricio on stage to display his appreciation and how it touch him and Zane very much. An attendee from Zoe Henry filmed an video extract of me presenting surprise on New Year's.
