Online changes in supporting Awareness events

Keith Mckenzie • June 25, 2025

The amount of awareness content for supporting events is now reduced and is now more selective on which events with supporting content. Also some major online changes to the online feature "Events+"

This is because, since autumn of 2024, I had to pause all online & social media content due to my personal priorities. This means It was not possible to support every awareness event all year round. Instead, my awareness website, "Plus Value Awareness" is now selective on certain events to develop supportive content online & social media.

Summary of changes:

Online Specials
A family of individual web pages presented as online specials for supporting events has come to an end.

Because of planning a major expansion of this awareness initiative to develop a series of video reels (and changing trends of social media audiences), it is no longer possible to continue with the online specials linked with specific events.

Since November 2024 onwards, the majority of online specials for supporting events are no longer available.

The "Embrace Dancing" feature will continue to appear online all year round to support the annual events in April "Autism Dance Day and International Dance Day"

Blog articles and exclusive projects
The original family of blog articles for supporting awareness events will continue online. However, on occasions, it is not always possible to develop content for every awareness event.

Also, occasionally, specially-made project pages exclusively for supporting events will continue when necessary.

Video reels & stories
Coming soon a new expansion of original content on social media with a unique series of video reels & stories. This will be accessed from the "Events+" feature linked with the video on the social media profiles on Facebook & Instagram.

Accessing content for supporting events
Due to the end of the online special pages, any future specialised content will be accessed from Events+ features. Some of the content is also linked from the specialised index pages of the Awareness Focus feature.

The archived article is to be accessed via the Previous Events pages of the "Events+" feature. Coming soon, an expanding collection of focused archived content will be available via the Events+ feature.

Some changes affect the Events+ feature.
As well the end of the online specials, the web page supporting events linked to the specific online specials will no longer continue.

The awareness calendar will continue online; however, the direct links to the online specials are now removed.

Social Media
Extracts from the original content of blog articles and exclusive projects. Also, appropriate extract features online will appear.

Coming soon, a new family of video reels & stories will be presented for supporting events as either new unique videos or as extracts from blog articles and online projects.

The reason for the new changes

"It is essential to adapt to how most people consume content",   and "Hopefully the new changes will reach more people much easier "
